Dr. Jemour Maddux, Psy.D., ABPP, is a board-certified forensic psychologist who evaluates how trauma and vulnerability affect functioning, abilities, and the course of a life — in service of the court. He applies this expertise to complex institutional abuse and catastrophic personal injury claims, and to mitigation and resentencing matters, as well as select questions in other cases, including Miranda.

Dr. Maddux is the Managing Director of Lamb + Maddux, LLC. He co-developed multiple American Psychological Association (APA) Practice Guidelines used by forensic psychologists across the nation and formerly chaired the APA Committee on Professional Practice and Standards. He has completed thousands of forensic evaluations and affidavits in state and federal matters and has been retained as an expert by multiple Am Law 100 law firms. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and also of the American Academy of Forensic Psychology.
